Void Appreciation Thread: Trying To Take Photos Of Black Cats Be Like

Do you have a black cat? Are you an awesome person? If the answer to the first question is yes, then the answer to the second question is automatically yes too. Because there clearly isn't enough love given to black cats in the cat world, much more black cat appreciation is necessary, and every person who adopts one of these adorable voids is amazing. Now, have you ever tried taking a picture of a void? Talk about a challenge.

Black cats are beautiful, and we don't cat what anyone says. It's just that whenever you take pictures of them, black cats just look like blobs. They're very loveable blobs though, and despite knowing better, we keep taking those horrible pictures of them, and you know what, we have grown to love them even more for the blobs that they are.

When you stare into darkness, darkness stares back at you, and little did you know, Darkness is actually the name of this cat. Honestly, we always have the urge to get a black cat if for no other reason, then for the awesome names you can give them. "Stop letting Darkness climb on your shelves," sounds more like a metaphor then a reprimand.

The way we actually had to take a moment to find the cat in this picture is what people who actually own black cats have to go through every single time they walk into a room with no lights on. The number of times we thought one of our pieces of clothing was our cat is a lot less funny than you think, and the number of times we had minor heart attacks stepping on our cat because she camaflauge too well into the couch is just as funny as you think it is.
